Kids Golf in Killarney
Our Kids Golf in Killarney Junior programme covers boys and girls from ages 8 – 16 years. There is an opportunity for everyone, regardless of their ability or golf experience. We pride ourselves on teaching the great game of golf to all those that want to learn to play – in a safe, fun and relaxed environment.
Within the Junior programme, our groups are broken down into groups by age category. These smaller groups are self-managing, so your child will be dealing with the same coaches and group of friends throughout.

We have one of the largest Kids junior programmes in the Ireland with over 250 youngsters learning their golf with us in 2022.
- We have a small army of devoted PGA trained coaches with all the qualifications and certificates in place.
- Our Lackabane facility has first class facilities for learning, Improving and Perfecting your golf game.
- We have a proven track-record of coaching children to go on to represent their respective clubs, Munster and Ireland in their respective age groups.
- We offer additional high-level training for those selected for our Academy programmes.
- We have an established Junior Pathway from participation to Elite level.
What does the Killarney Golf Academy Kids Junior programme look like?
Spring
Coaching sessions – Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 4.30 – 6.30pm
Easter Camps – April 10.30am – 2.30pm
Summer
Summer Camps – July & August 10.30am – 2.30pm
Autumn
Coaching sessions – Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 4.30 – 6.30pm
Halloween Camps – October 10.30am – 2.30pm
Additional coaching sessions take place at Kenmare GC & Beaufort GC during the summer months. links
Additional Private individual lessons are available Monday to Saturday
After completion of Academy programmes many boys and girls choose to join a local golf club Junior playing membership is currently open and available the following local golf clubs –

Soft Golf Schools Programme
Have you ever considered a golf based PE lesson?
Getgolfing.ie have developed a first touch golf programme specifically for Primary Schools. We have incorporated over 25 years of experience to bring you an engaging programme that works in line with the department of education’s guidelines for physical education. Based on short skills-based games and activities it provides maximum engagement for all children, by using modified soft golf equipment the programme helps develop hand eye coordination, balance, numeracy and much more. Over 3,000 Kerry schoolkids have already participated and got their first taste of golf.
