Custom Fitting
At Killarney Golf Academy we work closely with all the major golf equipment brands and hold the all of the latest custom fitting club head and shaft components for you to try. Whether you are a relative beginner or an accomplished player, selecting a set of clubs is one of the most important decisions you’ll make towards improving and enjoying your game.
Our professional PGA trained fitters have the most advanced tools and technologies available to analyse your swing and give a full assessment of your player profile to determine the clubs that will help you improve. Our unique indoor / outdoor studio is equipped with a Flightscope launch monitor, Mizuno Swing DNA and premium 2 piece Callaway balls are used in all fittings in order to establish accurate real ball data. It’s vital that your clubs match your swing if you want to achieve increased distance, better accuracy and improved ball flight.
Iron, Wood & Wedge Fitting
In order to maximise the performance of your equipment we focus on the following key areas –
Shaft – Flex, weight, length & kick point.
Club Head – Type, weight, size , launch angle, loft & lie angles.
Grip – Size, style, colour.
Set Make Up – Long irons vs Hybrids, wedges & gapping.
After Sales Service
All club purchases include a complimentary 1 hour follow up distance gapping session, typically 4 – 6 weeks from when you receive your new clubs. Any minor adjustments to loft, lie and grip size are also included in our full after sales service to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your new clubs.
Putter Fitting
During a Putter Fitting session your tendencies (aiming, face at impact, path, overall rotation and where you hit it on the face), timing (swing durations, rhythm) and most importantly the consistencies are measured using the Sam Putt Lab.

Retro Fitting
Over time, the specifications of your clubs can change through wear and tear or your current set may not be ideally suited to you. This can negatively affect the shots you hit. Retro-fitting takes your current equipment and adjusts it to your game making sure you get the most out of it. All aspects of club set up are covered in our retro-fitting service.
